About

Greetings, and thank you so much for visiting my about me page!

Who am I?

sarah and jude

My name is Sarah, and I’m a happily married, stay-at-home mom of one that’s already here, and one that’s still on the way.  I absolutely love being stay-at-home, and my main responsibilities are taking care of the family and household.  With what few extra hours I manage to squeeze out of that hectic job, I work on this blog.

My mission here on Earth is to illuminate, mold, and motivate all around me to live happier lives, empowered with knowledge about themselves and the world.  Either by example, my writing, or my products, my mission will remain the same.

The goal of Thank God for my Life is to get everyone to do just that- thank God (or whoever you believe in) for your lives, as often as possible.  This attitude of gratefulness makes us happy, and I want you to be happy!  No, I want you to be super happy.  No, Super Duper Happy!  SUPER-DEE DUPER HAPPY! 🙂  Ok, hopefully you are getting the point.

Each post is categorized into one of the 4 areas of life that you must master and balance to achieve happiness.  They are either tips, usually complete with research and/or anecdotes that can actually make a difference, or just there to bring a smile to your face because, hey, we all need that!  There will also be general posts that will help you in every category (for example, discipline, balance, knowing yourself, etc,).

Please contact me if you have any stories on how you’ve achieved happiness, tips, post ideas, or anything at all.  I’d love to hear from you!

Thanks again for reading,

Sarah

  1. Thank you Sarah for joining up with Freedomborn, I’m sure as we share together our hearts focus, we will be blessed. Wonderful that you are a Mum who enjoys being a Mum and not just some of the time but all the time.

Having been an Atheist for nearly 30 years I learnt that anyone can be Happy Clappy for a short time but True inner Joy only comes as we follow God’s guidelines in the Bible and without Jesus Christ The KING of Kings and LORD of Lords within us, the final result will be emptiness and despair because He is the only way to God, there is no other way.

John 14:5-7 Jesus saith unto him, I am The Way, The Truth and The Life no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

    Blessings – Anne.

    1. Thanks Anne! That’s so true- happiness without the focus of God behind that happiness is short-lived. It’s usually based on something else, like a certain circumstance or event, and those things can never last.
I’m happy I found Freedomborn! It really is inspiring and I’m so happy you’re helping spread all the truths you’ve realized.
I am curious: what made you an atheist to begin with, and then what made you turn away from atheism? I know some peoples’ versions of Christianity can be a turn off for others, just wondering if that played a part in your story at all?

  2. Thank you Sarah for your kind and encouraging words about Freedomborn, If you would like some of my Links they will explain in more detail but to condense here…Jesus was my Best Friend as child but the first day in High School I was told that I came from an Ape and Jesus was just made up like the Bible, I was very upset but my Mum who had just Adopted me was also an Atheist and said that what my Teacher had said to me was True, so for nearly 30 years I was lost but Jesus rescued me, the lies were in my head not in my heart or I would still be an Atheist.

Later when I started going to Church, I learnt why it is impossible for us to have evolved from animals, I have shared about this Truth in detail on my Blog but the main reasons are we have a human DNA Belly Button that no animal has and God had man record in Scripture over 2,000 years ago that our Blood is different from animals and they now know that Humans cannot be transfused with animal Blood or them with ours. Which means we were Created and yes this also means there is a Creator….How good is That!

    Blessings – Anne.

    1. That is great, Anne- I’m so glad you’ve come to that realization! Welcome back to Christianity! I just know how Christianity can be a turn off to a lot of people, as they associate it with hypocrisy and plenty of other negatives. It’s so sad we can’t see what it’s really all about. Sounds like you always had the Holy Spirit guiding you, even though you were atheist, since atheism didn’t reach your heart, and that’s what, I feel, is the most important. Thank you so much for sharing!
